went to change my fuel filter today, i couldn't get a drop of anything to come out the drain valve. do i need to bump the monster over? i did notice it came out like pouring rain when it was on. what about soaking it up with a lent free rag next time? now stupid me just put the new filter in, w/out draining the old. i know i know should of got rid of the old. how do i do this if nothing comes out. also, i heard some of u guys say it's dirty fuel in the bowl, i mean really how dirty and old is it,? does'nt it cycle through like the fuel in the tank,? how old and dirty can it really be. any pointers would be appreciated. thanks...

There was a TSB on the issue of no draining from the drain valve. If you search wisely, you'll find a few good threads on it. The fix is, open the drain valve and then cycle the key on in the cab to activate the lift pump. This blows out the obstruction and from then on it should drain normally.
