I am in the middle of installing a Westach Fuel pressure gauge on my 2004. 5 HO. I am installing a Geno's Billet fuel filter and intending on installing sender in the cover. The question I have is how does the sender read the pressure? It looks like the filter will seal tight against the Billet cover and the filter is sealed on that end? I cannot see how the sender will read any fuel pressure? Am I supposed to open up the center of the filter? Use a different filter? Trucks is apart and I am not sure what to do at this point? Anybody out there to help me out?

Thanks, Jeff

I don't have that gauge, but here's my advice. Just thread that sucker in the billet cap and see if it works! It can't be that complicated... lots of people install them with no problems...

I hope that's of some small help... maybe someone with more experience in fuel pressure gauge installation will chime in.

Thanks Ryan, Just completed the install. I had thought the same thing. Worst case the guage would not of worked. The guage works fine. The filter must not be pressed down by the cap at all. There has to be some amount of fuel that is above the filter between the filter and billet cap. Looks and works great. 7 lbs at idle. I can't wait until tomorrow to try and see what is goes to under WOT at 3/3 on my TST? I am thinking 0 but hoping it stays somewhere above. If it goes to 0 I will be spending some more money on some type of fuel pump. It does not seem to end the things you can find to spend time and money on your truck. Money well spent I say.

Thanks Also to Lil Red Cummins (aka Jim) for the PM messages.

Thanks Again, Jeff
