Hey I did a search on Head Gaskets and got a marine gasket # 3283335 but when I called Cummins Salt lake City Ut. that was the same # for the stock gasket. Is there a difference or do I have a wrong #. I want to get this done right the first time. Looking for suggestions as well, Truck 96 215 manual with #11 plate slid all the way forward and 17 of timing. I think the timing did it!! (I wanted 16 but wasn't my choice at the time. ) Should be around 285 +/- hp. I know I am not killing it because it the stock clutch at 174k but the timing was done last December.

Thanks guys, your help is very much appreciated.

Those are the numbers I used to use before I went to copper.

If you change the last digit to a 7, you get . 010" thicker.

If the last digit is 9, you get . 020" thicker.
