Help with, I guess settings??

I noticed that my computer is automatically marking the threads as if I saw them, even though I havent seen them yet.

Is there something I may have changed to do this?

Seems like I log on the net, and of course TDR is my home page.

Just because I logged on (but didnt go on the disgussion section), they get marked as already read??

That's why I don't use TDR for my home page. It will mark off the threads as read when logging off to go to another site. Sometimes I just don't have time to visit TDR when using my computer for other things.

PS A while back you said you have outlook express figured out pretty good.

How do I determine what ports are being used, and for what?

I went to go set mine up. Question was something like "what ports are being used for in and out" On the top of the page I saw POP3, so I put that in. It didnt work, and I cant get back to that page to change it.

I dont know what to put in it anyway??

Usually your 'receive port' (pop3) is port 110, and your 'send port (smtp) is port 25. I don't use Outlook though, but it should be the same I think, cause its a 'standard' or something.

The board behavior hasn't been changed or updated in a long time... though we are scheduling an upgrade this weekend...
