I drove my truck this morning to my desitantion. Sat oustide for four hours. Zero degrees. Not plugged in. I went to start, check engine light on. The truck can hardly make 10 psi of boost. Very doggy. I have checked all of the hoses and everything is fine. Unplugged my Comp and it still have a check engine light. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eric

Check the connection and wiring to the boost sensor, also the sensor itself. Its on the intake side, above and to the rear of the fuel filter. Its not much, but its a start-- good luck!

Also check your exhaust manifold bolts, especially the ones at the rear of the block. I doubt the loss of one would set a code though. Sounds like the Map sensor to me.

You should get the code pulled off to see why the check engine light is on and that will probably give you an idea of where to start looking. eg if the ecm is seeing 30 lbs of boost all the time it will set the light and defuel.
