2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Help with power seat motor

My seat will no longer move forward and up. It will move backwards and I can lower it but up and forward is dead. It has been on the fritz for a while but finally petered out. I know the same motor that moves the seat forward moves it backwards also so it is a bad connections somewhere or could it be the switch. What do you guys think?

To run a DC motor backward you just reverse the polarity so it is probably the switch. bg
