Help with Serial # information

The serial number will not indicate whether it limited slip diff. or not. There is a sticker under the hood on later models that does indicate the diff. type and LS, etc. bg

Go to your local Dodge dealer, he can run the vin number and give you a complete list of options and any service history that was done at a Dodge dealer.

Guys,

I'm dealing on a truck long distance and the sales goon gave me the Serial Number.

What I need to know is if the number will tell if the unit has Limited Slip Diff,which is important to me.

Help guys, its a good deal and need some assistance with the Serial #.
FYI, The unit is a 93 2wd, Ext Cab 5 spd with 200,000Km (125,000 Mi) fully loaded and they are going to rebuild the transmission due to shifting probs... They want $13500 Cdn. (with current exchange around $8700 US)
