Ok Guys need help, I am looking for Stainless steel 4" exhaust from turbo back, :{ and well lets say this is confusing , I want the pro expert advise ( all you people how have done this) I am comparing MBRP and MegaFlow T409 systems, they are both what apears to me to be the same.

Any advise on which one is better and will hold up?

This is going on a 96 4x4 that is used for snow removal and salting so I am always running thew the salt.

I want to place this on in the next week so please if you can help with which one i should use or just your oppions that would help.

I read and trust what you guys say all the time, has help me with everything from clutch replacement to what is going on with water leaks...

So waiting for replaies.

The MBRP will be a tad louder. It uses a smaller muffler than the MagnaFlow. Other than that there really isn't any difference.

check this link

they are a little louder, but they will never rust through

I was under the impression that the 304 systems where more resistant to rust than the 409 systems, but more expensive. Am I wrong?

Hey Mark...

For the 03's and 04's. The MBRP should be a 24" long 6" dia muffler where the Magnaflow is 30" long and 8" diam. Or am I wrong?

ok so it is remamended to use the 304 instead of the 409 due to the slat I use. Also if any other type of manufactures will be greatly excepted too. Price is not realy an issue cuz I do not want to do this every 2-3 years... I have alread replaced the bed and having frame and body sandblasted and painted because of all the salt.

T-304!!

T-304 the best. I have a HOGG and love it. I'm sure all the other T-304 stainless systems are just as good. If you want an exhaust to last forever get a T-304 system. I wouldn't buy Banks, I saw a 1 year old Banks Monster exhaust system here in Connecticut and it was rusted bad.

If you use or are around salt then I would spend more and get the 304 SS MBRP.

Contact Mark Craig above, I know personally he will get you the best price out there. And yes I have a MBRP on my truck too..... :-laf

TOM'STRUCK,

If you live in the salty part fo the world, and cost isn't a problem and you plan to keep the truck for 5 years or more definetly get 304 stainless.

Mark @ DPPI

well thank you all I guess the 304 is what we will be going with, and as always I take your imports to heart for the only way to know the best is to ask thoes that have tried it.

Thanks again

Wendy
