Help with vent visor install

I bought s set of these for my 2015 ram 2500 and I was holding them up to the mounting location and the tow mirrors are going to be in the way of attaching the front edge of the visor. I've had them on every other truck and don't remember having this issue. Is there a trick that I am over looking? The instructions say to use a putty knife to pry the mirror out and slip the front edge in behind it but that seems like it shouldn't need to be. Thanks for any help.
