After my torque coverter upgrade, two major malfunctions happened. :
1). Injector pump began leaking 200 miles after the installation of the torque coverter. I believe this was an isolated non-related problem. Dodde has replaced it under warranty.
2). Nasty vibration while idling, cruising at various speeds and especially bad when transmission is shifted into reverse. This began exactly when the injector pump when bad.
Dodge has had the truck all week and can't figure it out. They looked at the injectors, crank sensor, hooked up the diag computer. Engine is running fine, just can't find where the vibration is. They even took it to their transmission expert and he doesn't think it's related to the transmission.
Question I have is :
Does the shaft fromm the engine to the transmission turn at all when the truck is in reverse, drive or neutral and not moving? Is it possible that the shaft bent afetr the torque converter was installed. I did not get the billet shaft when I installed the converter!
