I recently purchased an A pillar guage mount(2 guage, full cover). I sanded and painted it before I checked the fit. When I lined it up, the factory speaker mount lines up with the lower guage hole Is this where it should be?

I also have a problem with the paint. My interior is Agate. The paint I bought is Agate. They are not the same. My factory color is closer to black than grey. In fact the A pillar cover would have been less noticeable if I had left it black.

Can't help you much, but here is a pic of a fellow TDR members gauges installed.

This is what I do with the A-pillar mounts. On mine I cut the original tabs and metal clips off the original and fiberglassed them to the new one. Pop the speaker out and put it in the new one, done. I just did another this weekend and I cut the speaker bulge out of the original a-pillar cover and pop riveted the new one on over it. Again, pop the speaker out and pop it into the new one. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I'll have to look a little closer. I really don't want to destroy the original. Perhaps I got a bad one. I'll try to post a pic later.
