Hey Guys,



Can anyone tell me how to find the serial number of my Cummins engine? The tag on the front accy cover is gone. The reason I ask is I went to my local Cummins dealer and he could not even help me without this number. When we went to check the tag was missing. The service guy told me basically I was screwed if I ever needed engine parts. Can anyone help?

You'll probly want to use the 91. 5's serial number as it's intercooled like yours.

Thanks for the serial numbers. Do you know how I can find mine? Is it possible or am I screwed like the service guy said?

The only place the numbers would be is on that missing tag. All cummins part searches are tied to this number. If you don't give them a good one they are lost.

No you're not screwed. Just use someone else's serial number for parts. We do this all the time when ordering odd ball 24 valve and or tractor engine parts.

Thanks Guys. The guy at Cummins really made me sweat. I mean he could not even get me a fuel or oil filter without a serial number. :--) We went out to the truck and look at the numbers on the filters. So you see what I mean. Again thanks for the numbers.
