replaced u joint, then wheel bearing, then steering pump, still does not turn to right with power steering? steering box? i need some help bigime! this started as a $100. 00 job, now running close to $1500. 00 someone have any ideas? :{

Not turning in one direction is normally a sign of a steering gear box or rack issue. If it were the pump you have the same result it ether direction.

Steering ?

I would try to eliminate in steps. Disconnect linkage at the bottom of the steering box, yeah it is a big pain. With the truck jacked up and on stands then using the tires you should be able to turn wheels all the way in both directions. If the problem persists you may be able to see the holdup with your eyes. If the problem is gone, I would disconnect steering above the gearbox and recconect the bottom and try the turning again, now if it comes

back the gear box is the only place it can be. etc. etc. Good luck RC

guys! thanks!

well, i kind of figured that, but it is good to hear from you guys; just to give me the affirmation that in fact it could most likely be the box! the box! i believe it is... ... ... ... anyway, i'll let you know what it was. this prevented me from getting a fluidampr this month! damn! repairs suck! i know of a lot of other goodies that money could have been spent on. i might have to splurge in the next week or so on a lap dance, to make me feel better. sniff. sniff. still love my 2006 dodge!:{

check out their replacement boxes at PSC Motorsports, Off-Road Steering Experts in Texas. I've got their boxes on all my trucks along with the support cross member and it makes a huge difference. . I run 35's and 37's on my truck so the steering box takes a beating in the dirt.

Tom Allen is the owner there and he'll take care of you...
