HI ALL,WITH SO MUCH STUFF TO PICK FROM FOR BOMBING OUT MY 24 VALVE WHAT IS THE BEST WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE ENGINE. I WAS THINKING ABOUT THE EZ,INJECTORS,AND 4INCH

EXHAUST. ALSO DO I NEED ANY transmission WORK DONE WITH THIS UPGRADE BEING AN AUTOMATIC? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Cleaner, you will need to upgrade the transmission if you do any more than mild injectors (275's or DD1's etc). If you run a box with any injectors your transmission needs help. You can run the mild injectors and an EZ or similar box for a while without upgrading, but you will have the power on tap to destroy the transmission. Some have done it for quite a few miles and others have cooked trannies in a few thousand miles. Just be aware of the consequences if you choose not to upgrade the transmission. It is my opinion that the trannies in these trucks are a lot better than they get credit for, but they are pretty well taxed at stock power levels. Hope this helps.
