Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Help!

Bought some parts from Goerend, and finnally got the nerve up to get going on it.

Trannys in the garage, installed the servo spring, and apply levet/ strut combo. Figured I'd put in the new valve body while I have it where it's clean and not cramped. (driveway job) Long story short I dropped the eclip inside the transmission. tried rotating it , putt the pan on rolled it over etc. Whats my best bet for getting that little rascal out of there?

I'm tempted to pour a cup or 2 of diesel in there and slosh it around some. See if it'll pour back out

Didn't go that route. Called Craig at Goerend,and he suggested air. Duh I guess I was tired last night. Two Shots and Viola' there it was. Phew, put it in first shot, Now goin through the rest of the reinstall...

Glad you got the problem solved! Diesel fuel introduced to the trans did not sound like a good idea.

I figured at that point I better get some rest, and ask someone with a bit more experience. Definitly wasn't interested in wrecking seals or clutch plates.
