The dealer can print out the TSB, it is # 23-63-94, it has all the instructions and required P/Ns. The hood, fenders and cowl needs to be removed. As far as parts go, there are Left P/N 4797018 and right P/N 4797019 patch panels and rivets P/N 4746924 and 3M Panel Adhesive Compound 30. Basic procedure is to stop drill the cracks (which means drill 1/16 inch holes at ends of cracks) and sand down the area and bound and rivet the panels in place. If I remember right, there were problems with receiving 2 of the same panels, because some of the panels were mismarked with the wrong P/N. Also the Dealers don't have a Dodge P/N listed for the 3M Adhesive, but any auto body supply house can order that for you. I can't think of anything else, I hope this helps.

I was able to get the cowl repair plates frem the dealer, had a hell

of a time as we ended up with 6 of one side and 2 of the other.

It took approx 2 weeks of ordering.

I finally have them and will be working on the truck this week and next.

Anyone located the panel adhesive that does not take the special

$250 aplicator gun????

Anyone had any luck with anything else?

I do not have any popping or cracking. I have decided to try and reseal the vent on l. side. this is the only side that is leaking. if resealing the vent doesn't stop it then i will proceed with the crack cowl repair. sounds like alot of work want to make sure.

Thierry i was going to use a caulking gun with 3m body seam sealent. along with the panels. does your truck leak water and if so does it pop and crack going down the road i am wondering if you have to have the noise to have a water leak.

thanks hoss
