does anyone know which color wire is for what on a factory wire harness on a 7 way trailer hitch wiring I know the factory wiring is not universal any more

I've never had trouble with any of my trailers. I'd try it first.



If they are wrong, the pin details are printed on the spring loaded receptacle cover. Ground the trailer to the truck and take the trailer plug apart. Using a jumper wire, you can single out each wire and write them down as you go. Reassemble the plug using the information you wrote and you should be ready to rock!
