herc diesel

Hey. . does anyone know anything about the hercules d-198 engine?? its a diesel used in military gen sets. or somplace to find info. want info on fuel system and bell houseing... . most any info would be helpful..... I am wondering how one would work for a repower.

That engine you ask about sounds like a relatively late engine - perhaps in the 60s or 70s.



My gramps developed engines for Hercules when he was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac.
