Hey everyone... just got my new toys from Mark Craig, including a triple-pillar pod w/ Di-Procols...

Just curious in which place everybody likes which gauge?

Thanks in advance!!!

Michael

I have mine from the top - EGT, Boost, transmission temp. I figured EGT would be the one I looked at the most. Of course, I forgot to take into consideration, now that I'm getting older, I can't read the numbers cause they're too close. :D

So far everyone else is wrong, from the top. trans temp, boost, EGt. :-laf

Exactly right ;) Most important at the bottom because it's in focus with the dash cluster.

I have the same set, and have them top to bottom, boost, egt, fuel pressure. Done over, I would go with the others and put FP at top, with boost in the middle and EGT on bottom.

Originally I had (from the top): EGT, Boost, FP... I switched to FP, Boost, EGT... Soon I will go back to the original. With the Di/Pro's, the EGT gauge has ONE less black band in the bezel... the angle of the pod cuts out part of the FP gauge with it on top. To ME, the EGT gauge was more asthetically pleasing on the top. The prob was that my fittings and -4AN stainless line made it difficult to put the FP gauge anywhere but on the top... anywhere else, and there was too much of a bend for stainless line.

Hope that helps,

Andy

Mine are installed from top down - Boost, EGT, Trann. It looks like from the posts from other, that is really all user preference. When my sons asked me why I put them in that order I told them that it was in order of power creation-transition. Air, Exhaust, Trans. I know that is way to simple for all of the readers here, but they bought it. :) ...

The only other thing that may help, is considering night driving if you do much. Maybe my light bulbs were not calibrated, ;) but my brightest gauge is Tran Temp, then EGT, and having the brighter guages on top would be distracting and almost blinding to have them in my field of view.

Hope that helps,

Gary
