Been dating this girl for 19 months, and have survived 11 months of it being seperated (she's in TX and I'm in CO). If the AF Academy allowedit, i probably would have already been engaged to this girl.

Right up till last Friday, she has been calling me and emailing me about how excited she was to come see me in two weeks. However, for the last 5 days i haven't been able to talk to her, and i don't think it was an accident.

OK now the funny/sad part. Yesterday, 19 months to the day, I get ahold of her younger sister, and i ask for my g/f. She says "yeah, one second"; then comes back and informs me that she's not home, even though i heard her in the background. THEN, she sends me a text message on my cell phone- "i think we should date other people"! Talk about blind sided! not even a phone call!

So there's mine, someone out there is bound to have another good break up story.

heart broke in Colorado... . :{

Women are like parking spaces. All the good ones are taken, the rest are handicapped.

Finding a women is like fishing. Catch and Release. If you find one you like, be sure to be within the slot limit... . and mount it!

Here i was thinking it couldn't of been any worse... I i guess i did get out pretty out lucky, as far as material stuff goes.

"stay away from the married ones... " Are you kidding! those are the cheapest ones to date, they spend all their husbands money and save you tons. Well, until you get filled with buckshot, that is. :-laf

Oh yeah,

about the dogs that's so true. They won't lie to ya, and if they don't like ya, they'll sure as heck let you know! The only animal I'm allowed to have here is a horse, so that'll have to do for my new friend. They don't lie and cheat either. Well, they do plays tricks on you sometimes, but with only the best of intentions!

Yeppers,, the good ones apparently are all gone (or taken), in the meantime just give the ones you come across "The Postage Stamp" treatment, you know, " Lick 'em, stick 'em, then send 'em on thier way!!!!" :-laf :-laf Oh, and be very careful of strange diseases of course!!

Came home early one night from work and found three guys in my living room all were ex-b-friends. Tried calling several times while at work got no answer, finally got her on the phone and she said she went to bed and some friends showed up. When I got to the house one took off running for the door, the other two were not so lucky. One went through the sliding glass door onto the patio, the other went through the front door. Both went the hard way. Nearly got arrested after that one.

When all was said and done about 1am here dad had to come pick her up being that she and all her stuff were outside waiting on him.

Yet another reason to spend more time & money on your truck rather than your girl :-laf

Sorry to hear that man!! "everything happens for a reason" so it will work for you in the long run

you might have a bit of a complex if you find a CTD girl..... that will have to be thought out

That's too bad :(

It was probably the long distance relationship that got to her. Go to the next Cowboy Action shoot, I bet you'll find a girl there that likes guns, horses, and trucks :)

Forrest, sorry to hear that. Maybe it was just too tough on her. But still, a phone call would have been the best way for her to let you know. It sucks, and I am sorry, but life goes on and for her, what goes around, comes around.

Now there's a great idea, Kirk!

I think ya'll are right that the distance finally got to her. We practically live in two different worlds and she's at that time to go out on her own. I guess she felt the relationship would be too much drag, even though she was planning on moving up here...

Thanks, for the funny stories and comments, helps a lot. I get lonely, and I'm not allowed to escape this prison here, so it's hard to keep my mind occupied. TDR words of wisdom better than anything a shrink could tell me!

I know how you feel,my wife of 5 years, been together 11 years, tells me 3 weeks ago she is moving out, right out of the blue,I still have no idea why this has happened.

I spent a lot of time up to my cabin this summer, she had to work most of the time so she was home most of the time, well her friend who lives in Alaska, well her dad died so she came back here, she was here for 3 weeks, stayed here with my wife, ive never liked her,she is trouble and I knew it from day one.

When I came home, for a few days, wife says here computer isn't working right, well I take a look and find all this spyware and adware on the machine, well come to find out this women used my wifes computer to talk to other men on the net and was looking @ porn,so I had to get rid of the virus and got to looking at the instant messenger and found logs of where she was meeting these men and going out with them, all time her husband is in the Air Force stationed in Alaska guarding our country and she is out screwing other men, well I dont know if that has anything to do with my wifes decision but I am sure it is.

The funny thing is I am not even upset about it,and I dont know why,I have never felt so relaxed, and the thing is we never fought and alway got along very well, but she will take what she sees on a soap opera and the next day I will be living what had happened on her soaps she watches.

It is unbelievable how this has played out,I never saw it coming.

DGFoster, sorry to hear that bud, but you need to watch the movie Office Space. You sound like Peter.

While I was a senior in high school I was dating a girl a year older who went off to college. We did the talking thing and seeing each other once in a while routine. She came home on christmas and to my surprise, she had a girlfriend. It wouldn't of been that bad, but she had lost all interest in men. The only reasoning I could get out of it, is that she realized she already had the best guy, so the only other place to go is girls. LOL I know my story isn't as dramatic as some of the others, but we all got a good laugh out of it while it happened.
