Competition Truckin Nationals in PHOENIX

After 2 years of basically MIA, Dave put down 2 virtually flawless runs, and won the charity pull in Glenford, Ohio.

He was in front of the top Mod trucks in the country, including, Kent Crowder, Van Haisley, Eric Stingly, Erik Stacey, Andy Schureck, plus several other newcomers. No doubt the best Mod class put together since the Scheid event.

An awesome event, for first time pull. I know I and others are looking forward to this event becoming annual.

A couple things, please get with Hammer ahead of time, and don't schedule it the same weekend as Kauffmanns Fall Brawl.

And put a limit on csevers pulling , scratch that, attempting to pull, 15 times in one night. :p Yes, Craig, I have you on tape.

Hey Gene

I only hooked my truck 4 times and only messed up one of those hooks and then went on to beat myself driving someone else's truck in the pro street class and beat a twined truck you know well. What is wrong with that??? If I could have gotten a couple more hooks ya know I would have.

It was a lot of fun

Heres a video of Dave's fp. Will try and get the pull off on tomorrow. Dave@Glendford

WOW! Nice to see Dave get down the track without seeing him do his famous immatation of a bunny rabbit! :-laf :D

I remember the first time I ever got to meet Dave & Lorretta Mitchell, as well as see Dave pull. It was in Lebanon, KY a little over 2 years ago. It was the first diesel truck pull I'd ever been to, and MAN! these two smilies --> :--) Don't do justice to the look on my face watching Dave go down the track!

Great to see he's back in action again! :D

So apparently he forgot to turn the valet switch off there for a second?

That's a nice way to get a limited tire down the 1320..... put the valet on a dimmer switch.

Thanks for the video. I can't wait to see the pull off. Did he get to run it out in the pull off, or lift like he did there?

Its nice to see the white dodge running good again. Enterprise Engine was one of the first web cites I visited. I will never forget seeing their homepage down load for the first time. You guys know, the pic of the white dodge rolling smoke! :--) I really like the new paint job.

2nd Annual Charity Pull Oct. 8, 2005

The decision has already been made to have the event again next year. It will be on Saturday Oct. 8, 2005 and we might even make it a 2 day event (Friday). How's that Gene?????????????? Think you can work it into your busy schedule?

While the event is still fresh in everyone's mind we would like to hear all the pros and cons of the event. You can either post them here or email me. Don't worry I've put the pacifiers away until next year :-laf

With your help we want to fine tune the event so that it will get better each year! We not only want to put on an awesome show for the spectators, but we also want the pullers to want to come back and pull. If we accomplish these two things then we are sure to be able to give a generous donation (100 %) to Round Lake Christian Assembly again next year.

Our thanks goes out to all the EEP Pullers, Round Lake staff, and many others who gave so freely of their time to make this event possible!

I can't wait until next year Oo. I just need a little time to catch my breath and reorganize. At least we'll have a year to plan this time and not 6 weeks.
