hesitation/code

just replaced all six injectors on my 07 3500 with dynomite diesel injector and installed the 2 micron filter. I have roughly 3,000 miles on this stuff, and 132,000 on the truck. Today the engine started hesitating at heavy acceleration, and the check engine came on. I did the key on/off thing to get the code but did it one time to many and missed it. I saw the code, but too briefly to read it. Now when I do the key thing it comes up blank. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the code without the diagnostic computer. The truck is not disappointing me yet, but it is getting close I have been dealing with too many problems lately or at least post 100,000 miles. Thanks much
