Adding 2-stroke oil to fuel??

Its a Federal Offense...

I run B20 in the engine and Amsoil everywhere I can. Take your 9. x billion $$ profits and shove 'em up your pipeline.

Pointless mini-rant I know. But every little bit helps.

If all goes well, I'll be installing a corn furnace in my house. I burn heating oil now and I have an incredibly inefficient furnace. It's one of those "Longwood" brand dual fuel deallys. Burns both wood and oil. Corn is free or nearly so from dad. I could burn B100, but I really don't want to see what would happen to those 25 year old seals in the motor/pump or how much crap I'd bust loose from that ancient tank.

I can't run B20 all winter. I put some in the freezer at -5*F and it's gelled beyond recognition. Should be able to go with maybe B5 or B10 most of the winter though. It's not a perfect solution, but it's a start.

I hear you loud and clear. I am going 20% also because that is what I am comfortable with. 80% profit is better than 100% profit for me anyway. :D

Same here, huh. B100 and no OPEC dependency. Keep my fuel dollars at home.

First you gotta plow the ground, plant the soybeans, harvest & process & press the beans to get the oil, all without the help of opec and our own oil mega-cartels. . hhummm?? well I guess you could use electric motors somewhere in the process, they dont use petroleum to make electricity, do they?? :{

Yeah, you're right. Let's all just keep using up all the oil we've got available to us. It might run out sooner or later, but who cares. Oil companies treat us right, at least they tell us so.

Don't believe the propaganda that bio/soy diesel takes more energy than it produces. That's crap. There are just as many reports showing the opposite. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. I'm going to side against the oil companies.

If someone came up with biodiesel that was safe to run in our engines, I'd pay 50 cents a gallon more just to help deprive OPEC. I'm all for putting money in the pockets of American farmers. I just don't want to destroy my beloved Cummins in the process.
