i am new to TDR, but i have been poking around for about a month now. i am only 14 and do not own a diesel turck, but both my dad and uncle do. i have been saving for a dodge cummins 24 valve since i was like 8 years old. i don't know too much about the diesel world, but i guess i know a good amount for a kid!:) so if you guys could teach me and help me out along the way and try not to poke fun, that would be much aprriciated.

thanks guys

Hey... . nobody is gonna poke fun at you. When I was 14 I wanted a muscle car real bad & saved every penny to get one. I now have a garage full of cars, trucks, equipment & tools. You can do it if you put your mind to it & don't let anyone tell you different. Just go to search forums & read until your heart is content... . any questions that you come across... . just ask & we are here to help. You just keep your mind set to cars, trucks & leave the girls for later & you'll be OK. LOL... Good Luck

Welcome aboard hummincummins2! How awesome is it that you are a member of a body of immense knowledge about Cummins, diesels in general, and a whole lot of other stuff to boot!!! Hanging around the people you want to be like is the best way to get there and there is no better group than this one!

In the spirit of Pastor Bob from the 1st Gen forum, how about 100 advance horsepower for you just because you joined at age 14!

Godspeed,
Trent

hey buddy i did the same but i got mislead and bought 2 Powerstrokes. now i have a cummins and i love it feel free to ask any thing and post Q's any time!

Welcome aboard sport. You are already off to a good start by joining TDR and by thinking Cummins. Stick with both, keep your ears open, read the post and you'll go far.

Plus, if you get the Cummins first the girls are alot easier to get!:-laf That, and if you get the girl first, sometimes they get jealous if you want to spend money on something other than them;)

i wouldn't even dream of buying a powerstroke or a duramax! nothing better then a cummins! i love the cummins, don't know too much about it but i know a fair amount for my age. thanks for all the support so far guys, you guys sound like a bunch of really nice guys, and i am excited in getting to know all of you. see ya 'round
