Yessireesir ... it does. I think acceleration is up too. I wonder if that's because the low end fuel is cut down, to a more optimum fuel -vs- air ratio. Smoke @ the low / mid is down too. 
Wassssup here is I had a #0 plate & wanted a less obscene amount of fuel @ the low rpm range. With the #0, as soon as the rack moves, it goes a looooong way to hit the plate & resultant is a lot of smoke. Especially with the slower spooling HX55.
I got ahold of Joseph Donnelly & strategized about a custom plate. Something like a cross between the #10 & the #0. The #10 would be the low to mid range & the #0 from there to the top. Joe built it called it the #100. Oo.
