yes I think i will look there these trucks have two heating grids that pull 90 amps each at start up

plus all the other goody we have on our trucks

more power than we need is a good thing

the stock set up just don't cut it

I have a 200 amp direct bolt in from Green Machine in PA. Has a 3 year unconditional guarantee on it if you don't race it. I really like it. Best thing on the market I've found. Think that they make higher amp rigs but don't know if they are direct bolt on. If you get to big of an alt and don't use enough of the output you will shorten the life of your altenator.

I Think All These Truck Need A Bigger Alternator On Them

The Heater Grids Realy Pull Some Amps And A Stock Alternator

Is Hard To Keep Up With The Load

FYI I run several blowers for fuel cooling, VP44 cooling, trans cooling (expermenting if I really NEED them) and I have to put a battery charger on once a week to keep the batteries up.

I drive 17 miles one way to work. 1/2 of that is stop and go driving, 1/2 is highway driving.
