I've heard talk of this in other threads but didn't want to hijack them with this .
What, how, why?Does 4th have this feature built in ? Aisin only For pto?

I do have an Aisin. I don't know if others need to be enabled by a dealer. Start your truck, foot Off Brake, hit cruise, set, then use resume/accelerate to raise or lower rpm. Hit brake to disengage. Can't hurt to try.

Dealer must enable high idle feature. Some dealers do it automatically due to regional conditions, some don't. As jhenderson mentioned, just try it.

High idle feature is mainly for warming up faster but could be used as a dual purpose for the PTO. Up here in AK at the dealership, all of our trucks have it. I just thought these new ones came standard with it, but I suppose it's something they might turn on when they go to lot prep them. We like to crank the high Idle up and turn the exhaust brake on. It creates back pressure and warms up even faster
