2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission HID headlights

I have a 98 Dodge CTD with aftermarket sport headlights. The ballasts are Hella's with xenon bulbs. The HID's are wired to the low beams. The high beams are wired to a 9004 bulb. Is this correct? Does it matter which bulb sockets are used for each?

I believe that is correct. Its not until you get to the high end HID projector headlights that the high beams are are part of the HID projectors.
