How is it that everyone & their brother is making a winch bumper for everything but the ram ? The application as to my knowledge is 94' up, seems this would be a great place for warn or ramsey to be making money. The only thing found so far is the 200lb you better have snowplow prep to run , way overbuilt stuff for $1500-2k. Not interested, ideally I'd love to have what warn offers to the other guys known as the enforcer. If anyone knows of something simular to this bumper, please help. Thanks in advance---Proflow

Proflow,

I have a Denver Off road front bumper on my truck and it is great. The workmanship is perfect and weight is not really and issue. The other option if not a whole new bumper is the warn transformer system but you will be up near the same weight any way. The DOR bumper weighs 138 lbs and my winch weighs 138 as well. I do not have the plow prep and the front end did not sag. I did see an increase in bouncing on the front end with the stock shock and 32k on them but a set of bilsteins fixed that. #ad

The price only hurts until you see how much work Layne puts into one of these.

PS I got the bumper after $8k in damage from a deer.

thanks guys

Ted, after reading QRTRHRS post & searching, your opinion is exactly what I'm I'm in the market for. I wonder if the dor has to have the gaurd for extra support or if a guy could run without it. Thanks guys---Proflow

Proflow,

Call Layne if you are interested. I don;t know about the no grill guard option but I would think he could build you one if you wanted. I will state it again, CALL HIM. If you email him you will never hear anything. His web site is http://www.denveroffroad.com and it has his number on it. He is a great guy to deal with but is not computer literate so emails don't work out very well.

You will be happy Oo. if you get one of his bumper. He makes a great product.

Ted
