Is it normal to bury the pyro when mashing the go pedal w/ comp on 5x5

I have an Airaid filter and wonder if switching to an AFE would help?Also e temps run 1000 or more under light load until turbo spools up.

I have similar setup to yours and I to bury my gauge 1600+ degrees w/Drag on 5x5. I took my progaurd 7 with outerwear off and put the AFE stage 1 filter back on and it seemed to help a little for cruising temps and the last time I used 5x5 it hit 1500 instead of 1600 but I ran out of road before I hit 3rd gear. I think you could reuse your airaid box and try an AFE filter on it but I have a hunch it is the jammer 5s that are to hot and I'm thinking of Mach 4s when the time is right. What do you see for boost #s? I see 38-40 with Comp off and 45-47lbs on 5x5. Hope this helps.

Boost #'s are 40 max with box on or off.

You might shorten the wastegate rod like 3 turns and see if that helps.
