Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) High Idle Dead Fuel Peddle

Was returning from Tennessee yesterday, pulled off "E-Way" for a bite and would idle about 1100 RPM. I then went on down the road about 80 miles and truck just quit, would idle (normally) only. Shut it off and restarted a couple times and then was ok (engine light stayed on) and made it home.



Pulled codes this morning and only showed P PCU, any meaning to this? Could it be the APPS. What to do next? Truck has 42600 miles and all gauges, including FP, register normal.

I did pull 2 codes this morning: P 0500 and P 1693.



Could someone tell me what these codes are? Reset the APPS and code 0500 went away but P 1693 did not. Also, the engine light stays on.

I did the "APPS reset" and the codes went away and after driving a bit the engine light went away. Hopefully problem solved.
