I was wondering if these truck's had a high idle option? I thought I read about a three cylinder high idle or something awhile back. If so, is that something the dealer has to do and does it help that much in cold weather!

It's an option... skip the dealer, find someone local with a Smarty, load in any program, load back the stock programming, buy the guy some lunch and you have high idle.

How does that work by loading the stock program back in? Does the smarty enable you to "unlock" dealer option's or factory option's that stay once it's set back to the factory program?

The stock program inside the Smarty downloader contains the latest Chrysler software updates. Remember, Smarty does not download your current stock software, it contains it's own stock software... hence, it has the updates for high idle operation.

You should have ended that with "and enabled"! SNOKING
