high Idle

All of the sudden I noticed a high idle. Has anyone else had this problem how did you correct it?

What was the temperature? At a certain (low) temp, the idle should increase to about 1000RPM but drop back when you hit the brake and put it in gear.

The temp is in the 80s it is hot.

I've seen our 04 or 05, don't remember which it is... when it idles for a length of time with the AC on... it will kick up the idle as if its cooling down, and then it will settle back to normal... but its only one of the two trucks... we finally decided that the software in the ECM has to be different... they also fast idle warm up differently in the winter. .
