high/low beam on together

I remember reading a post about someone wiring their high beam headlights so the low beam is on when the high beam is on. Is this a smart thing to do? Sure sounds good. Is there an easy way to do it for a newbie with limited electrical abilities but plenty of patience?


Any help and/or suggestions appreciated.

I think it can just be done with a jumper wire on your truck. Mine is a '95 so I don't know for sure about the later trucks.

is it a sport? I used my high beam wire to energize the hi and low beam aswell as the high beam on the other bulb. #ad
can you say bright?
