If you have not seen and heard the new Cummins high output, by all means do so! A fellow co-worker of mine just brought his to work. I think I got more excited over it than he did. It is so quiet and so dam powerful. I think he said 300 hp?

He was getting 15 mpg unloaded. Made my old 12v look like a loud toy (I still love my truck). He paid 39k off the showroom floor.

Too steep for any thoughts of a trade-in for me.

E,

these new trucks with just a chip will make more hp than your truck. if you like to bomb then its time to get an 03. mine made 296 hp at the wheels stock. i have seen guys who dynoed with me dyno at muncie and thier numbers where almost the same at both places. i think i just got a good one.

$39k off the showroon floor seems a little high. I bought exactly the truck I wanted by ordering though the fleet manager for about $30,500 + tax and license after rebates and Farm Bureau. Shop around, and use the internet.

That new 3500 Regular cab 4x4 is real good looking. But it is a couple of inches longer than my 2002 3500 RC 4x4 and won't fit in the garage.

Since mine won't fit through the 6' 7" H 7' 9" W doorway to my garage, I use it for storing little things, like cars. :-laf

No, I'd say that it's time to let my big white friend "do his thing" - pulling the Montana. :D

Down here, along the Texas Gulf Coast, garages are used mostly as storage areas. ;)
