My Daughter has a 2006 3/4 ton. Its just out of warranty. There is a leak

at the #4 high pressure fuel line. I checked the nut that holds the fuel line

to the injector. Its tight. The bracket that supports the line was loose. Im thinking that vibration because of the loose bracket caused a crack in the fuel line. Is this a common problem.

Do you think the dealer will cover this. She is about 3000 miles over warranty. Your thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

If not the tube is $46. 50 and you just need a 19mm to change it. A stubby 19 comes in real handy on the rear tubes.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will tell my Daughter. Twest thanks for the offer. If the dealer doesnt cover the cost of the repair I will be taking you up on that .

Thanks again everyone.

When one can not be found, you can braze them as well. Just clean it up real well and a good flux. I have done this to our 3208 cat on the fire department some 8 years ago.

Cummins part number.

Thanks for the replys all. Does anyone know the Cummins part number for the number 4 cylinder fuel tube. Its been my experience that Cummins parts are

not as much as the marked up Dodge parts.

Thanks all
