Got a question. What does it take to get power in the higher rpms like 2000 revs or so. I've got all kinds of grunt and the low revs but what does it take to get the power in the higher rpms for like when I crusin down the road turnin 2000 r's and want to blow the doors off of someone. I've already got a #10 fuel plate, star wheel turned, the truck had injectors in it when I got it and I'm not sure what they are, Auto transmission with shift kit and porformance converter and lock up switch. Do I just need to do sum tuneing or what parts out there can help me.

Thanks in advance Chase

Get a 3000 or 4000 gsk, that will cure your problem. You can get them from TST Products, Inc. or piers, several other places to. I have the 4000 on my sled pulling truck and 3000 on my daily driver, for what you want to do the 3000 gsk will probably do the trick. If you do go with the 4000 you will need to upgrade your valve springs also. The install is pretty easy, just make sure you get all the factory stuff off the governor except the big spring and put in the new springs. There are i want to say three shims on each side that you have to take out make sure you get them or it will not work. Good luck and dont be afraid to ask for further help.

also, that 10 plate starts pulling fuel back in the upper rpm area. get something with less defueling on the top end. A 0 should do the trick.

Or, just grind off the top of the curve, like I did, for a #100 plate. . its a sweet curve

Do the 3k gov springs and see that timing is about 15-16*. The springs are not hard but getting them adjusted right is an art. On the pedal hard and shifts at about 3200 rpm, but I don't defuel until close to 3400. Scared me when coming back from DTT the first time I jumped on it getting on I5. I was amazed to see the tach going above 3k. Was use to defueling at about 2600.
