Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Higher EGT's

Has anyone noticed higher EGT's with a BHAF? I just installed mine and have noticed that the EGT's run alittle higher.

you're probably using that extra air to go faster, thus increasing the EGTs :-laf

I never saw a difference running one on my truck, but you are pulling in warm underhood air. It is warmer than the ambient air, being so close to the turbo.

I figured on heat shield. Where is the best place to buy one? Online?
