I would like to have all chime in and tell their horspower numbers if you have actually run on a dyno. If possible list mods and say yea or nay on whether you were impressed on them.

If you haven't run on a dyno just telll your feeling on the mods you have made and how they affected your truck.

Preparing to BOMB that is why i would like to hear all opinions on the matter. All help is appreciated!:)

Any mod is welcome.

Yes i am aware of the numerous posts on the subject already but I would llike to gather the info in one post so I can easier make a decision.

Thanks to all!!!

The boss's daily driver is 503hp/1050ft-lbs, single turbo, #2 only. Has made 563hp in testing, but not with available parts.

On another note, ever been to KO's in Bozeman?

Which brings up another question I have been contemplating. If I bomb the engine and put an adequate clutch in it, how much horsepower will the rest of the drive train handle under non-abusive everyday driving? By handle, I mean not wear excessively or break. I won't be pulling or doing burnouts. I would like to smoke the ricers off the line though...

:)

Once the clutch is done JWerkheiser, the rest of the drivetrain should be just fine. We test (abuse? ) the drivetrain and have seen no failures in the rear ends, driveshafts or transfer case from normal performance driving and even drag racing.

I have DDII's, DDTTPM, DD pusher pump, airaid intake filter, and 5" exhaust on a SO truck. I would hope I make at least 350 HP. It sure feels better than stock. How much for a dyno run Kieth? My parents just moved to Henderson.

I had mine on a Mustang dyno in Sep 03. I have an Edge EZ, and Amsoil Oiled Foam air filter, otherwise truck is stock. HP=324. 0 @ 2750 RPM.

Torque was 656. 9 @ 2300 RPM.

All this info is great. Would love to have more and hear of some more results. The only thing that makes it hard for me is trying to find more power and make it a great daily tow rig. One that I can turn my employees loose on and not worry about them blowing the thing up because they cant drive high horsepower rigs. :(

On your note keith yes i have been to KO's, it can be quite a fun place if you like to have fun. But then again most places are pretty fun here on almost any given night being on of the biggest college towns in the state.

If you are planning to turn other people loose with your rig that "can't drive high horsepower rigs", then don't do anything to it at all. If your drivers won't monitor a pyrometer gauge, you'd be in for trouble. The only way to get more power and make it so that the EGT's wouldn't climb would be to do a turbo and limit yourself at around 400rwhp.

Next time you go into KO's, find Kyle (skinny, high strung bartender/owner - usually bartending or playing foosball) and tell him Keith from Dynojet says hi! :)
