Highest Hp Eth

Who has the highest HP ETH going now? I am ready to do some more mods on the truck... starting with a Southbend. I would prefer to stay away from propane... don't care for the hassle on the PSD. There have been a ton of new products coming out lately and most are being tested by someone on this site... so lets here about it... . CJ

The Kondolays have a truck on order and I know that baby will

rival for highest HP later this year or early next year

bob as far as i know i have the highest ETH. i know dd had one in the low 500's. not only that but mine is a work truck.

I don't know if DD's truck was an ETH or not. . can't remember. I do know they were on #2 dsl only.



Cobrajet wants to stay away from propane (as he stated in his post).

i asked lawerence how much power he could get out of an eth without pump mods or internal mods. he said around 480hp. with just the supermentals i think he got 412hp with just the 5's i got 452hp and 515hp with just diesel.

I would deffinatly dyno at sea level those corrected numbers are way to high without pulling that VP44 apart we all know the ETH is limited to around 425hp I would put it on a load dyno to know exactly what you are putting out thats real world numbers anyway just my $. 02 be careful with the drugs on a higher compression engine headgaskets will fail

i'm glad to see you back on the boards. this weekend i was on a mustang dyno which is a loading dyno. and made 399. 5hp with just my bd5's and an ez. i made 443 with my comp on 5-5. but i forget to raise my boost from 38 back up to 50. oh well. i made 564 with nos. i've already been through the head gasket thing. this was at sea level.

How about an ETC ?



I haven't been around the boards all to long,, If I am thinking correctly the ETC could make more power on #2 alone than an ETH ? or am I in Left Field?? (Been there a couple times. . )



What is the most power, without pump mods can an ETC make,,? (No Drugs,, well, okay, maybe a little )



My B-Day is coming up, and my Dad knowing how much I like my truck, decided to buy me a MU 00090 Con O SBC

Now, I'm looking at some supermentals from D. D. as soon as $$ allows. I'm gonna have to watch that right foot, and Pyro since I am going to leave the turbo stock till I have enough $$ to do that.

Pump mods meaning physical mods... or an electronic add on box? I'm at 447hp 965ft-lb with my setup. Looking for a lil more... 13. 75 is my next E/T goal and 475hp is my next hp goal.

Sorry bout that,, meant Physical pump mods,, or "Warmed up" etc.



Fueling boxes are good especially since my warrenty is allready down the tubes..... not a bad thing

Mike's truck at Bully Dog is not an ETH six speed. He is running the 12 1/4 in. clutch, our (MU 0090 CON OFE). I believe it is a 5sp also. Jim has the ETH 6sp, which to record I believe is the highest HP out there right now for that vehicle. He has the 13 in. clutch and running our (MU 2001 Con FE). The stage 5 injectors are putting out some incredible #'s. I understood that the pumps on the ETH's could not handle that amount of fuel but Mike assures me that they can handle it. Proof is in the puden and Jims truck is showing the #'s.

Thats also on propane..... and maybe even nitrious? Cobrajet is looking for numbers without propane.

Wow that sounds good I wasn't aware the full drug package was being employed ( a little black market horsepower) I guess I will have to eat the crow on this one but will do so gladly especially since it means my truck has some possibilities... ( for BIG SAINT) he likes periods

It looks like the Bully Dog 5's are the injectors of choice. What about fueling and timing box setups. I currently have DD's TTPM, but I believe there are higher HP units available... who has it?? Which ones works best with the ETH. Fuel pumping problems seem like an easy fix. My stock setup seems to be okay now, but the big stuff will require some of Mallory's magic. GOOD info. . let's gets some more... . CJ

i sure like my bd5's. as far as a box goes get the edge comp. it has 5 power levels with 5 sub levels for smoke control. this unit will fuel below stock for big injectors.



give andy or doug a call at www.smokindiesel.com that's who i bought my stuff from and there great guys. they can set you up with a turbo also. here is food for thought. with just my bd5's i made more hp than with my dd2's and my comp box. these injectors are great!!!!
