Highest hp for 3rd gen???

I was just wondering what the most hp for a third generation is? Does anybody have twins? What is the biggest chip? How much are injectors?

305 stock and they'll have to build a bigger dyno in order to tell you what a modified 3rd gen will do!

huh? more like 265- 275 stock.

David Dunbar (Diesel Performance Motorsports) has dyno'd several stock 03's and they have been ~260-wheel.



The crazy thing is the new 6L's with more crank HP have been dynoing LESS than the Cummins, so go figure who has been over-rating there numbers

550hp is the highest i have seen. (bullydog i think) that was a truck (03') with twins

I read about a 700 hp rig the other day on the DiRT list. That truck had nearly everything that could be done, though it was reported there is now a better cam than what it is running, so more hp is possible. It had an Edge EZ, turbo, cam, exhaust, etc.

That had to be running more than just a new turbo. The DD site only shows 490hp possible with the mods they list. Are there some more products still in testing?

Well, that graph was with everything we offer, but the prototype version of the True Torque box. It had more power capability than what we sell. We chose to not offer the higher levels due to some "issues" found during testing.



The next box (timing/pulsewidth) and a bigger turbo should be able to put us over 600rwhp on #2 pretty easy. No graphs on that yet though.

MMeier - still waiting on the prototype from Edge. As soon as that's out, we'll have something to test the next turbo with.
