Where can I find history on the second generation truck's, ie- what is a HO and when come into being. Which year is better a 2001 or 2002. What's the difference between the 2500 and the 3500.

Tells all about the evolution of the Cummins engine.

HO has more power than a standard output engine and is only available with the 6 speed manual.

Not for sure but I think they added both the HO engine and rear disc brakes in 01. 5. As far as difference in 01. 5 and 02, I don't know of any differences. I'm sure someone else will chime in on this one.

The most notable difference between a 2500 and a 3500 is that the 3500 has duals.
