Anyone know a good place for unique hitch accessories?
I need a equalizing hitch shank that adjusts down low. My father in-law just bought TT and got a husky equalizing hitch. Only problem is it is set up to tow with his chebby suburban. My truck towing reciever is way too high. I have an 02 4x4 with camper package. The rv place has a catalog with a shank (eaz-lift brand )that will drop it 9 and 3/4 inches. I dont think that willl drop it low enough. Im thinking a 12-14 inch drop will work. Has anyone else encountered this?
Flipping the axles is not an option, as neither is putting a wheely bar on the back of the TT. The moron at the rv place thought that suggestion was funny
To clarify this is an l-shaped adjustable shank (they called them stingers at the rv place)that slides into the truck reciever. The ball mount/sway bar attachment bolts onto this piece. It is adjustable by means of holes drilled thru the bar stock. Is fabricating a shank my only option?
