what if any are the difference

Which Tire?

I am glad that most of us are usually concerned with being safe while towing and having the correct gear to do it. One thing that wsa brought to my attention recently that I have never thought of... you know the pin that holds your ball mount into the receiver hitch, almost all of those are only rated fro 10K lbs, and I know alot of us tow over 10K. I have never heard of one breaking but does anyone know of ones rated for more weight?

I don't think many (if any) are towing over their hitch rating. Most towing over 10K are doing it with a gooseneck or 5er hitch, not the bumper hitch.

Believe the pins are 30K rated.

I didn't know what the standard 2" receiver pin was rated for. .

But I'm no longer using a stock ,standard 2" pin.

When I bought my Class V Reese hitch, it's a 2. 5" box receiver and comes with a new hitch pin.

Way back when, when DC had the recall on the POS stock factor hitch, I dumped it and went for the Reese Titan Class V.

I agree with towing over 10K should be done by a fifth wheel preferably if not a gooseneck. I have personally delivered travel trailers weighing over 15K unloaded weight. Not with this truck now but with a ford dually. Alot of office trailers, park models, and giant travel trailers that are used as park models, weigh over 10K. It is no fun to tow no matter what the truck.
