Just bought a new 14 with the puck system , I can't find anyone who has a system that will fit my pull right hitch of 16,000 . Everyone is telling me I have to buy from dodge, the hitch and rails. Can anyone help?

I believe B&W also makes one that fits.

Contact etrailer.com. Reese makes a "picture frame" that drops in the pucks. Then a standard 5th wheel hitch drops in the picture frame. Have 2000 mile on mine and works great. Puts another 80# in the box tho.

I have the Reese adapter from e trailer, and use it with my same Reese 5th hitch that was in the '96, '01 and '08. The Reese "picture frame" adapter should be the same as having the old style rails.

I had the same problem with my new 14 ,I went to tweetys.com they had 14 25000 hitches . It came in two days what a nice setup b&w companion.

I too am getting ready for a new 3500, currently have the B&W with the companion hitch. Checked with B&W to see if their system will work with the new RAM, information I received is that I will need to buy a new base if the truck is equipped with the 5th wheel prep package if not I can install the B&W Turn Over Ball to use what I have. When I checked on the cost it seems to be a wash so I will probably order the 5th wheel prep package and then get the new B&W system with the pucks. I have been please with the B&W, no issues and they stand with their product.
Stop the show, B&W told me when I called back to confirm the availability of their new system that it is about 10 weeks out and they are having trouble keeping stock. I now plan to buy the new truck with out the 5th wheel prep so I can use my B&W.

You will be happy with the new base Got mine and it fits like a glove nice unit.
