i have a 99 drw you can see my mods in signiture. im thinking about buying the bd twins this week i was wondering about change injectors to but not sure what size to go with. im running around 9. 19 in the 1/8 does anybody have an idea what the et would change to with twins and bigger injectors. i would like to run in the lower 8s.

any hlp would be great.

Low 8s in a dually will require a bit bigger set of twins and I would recommend a little N2O :D

Or a descent sized single and gigle gas will do the same. The twins would drive a bit better.

I normally race at about 7200lbs, and run 7. 8's - 7. 9's in the 1/8 mile depending on track condition. To run low 8's (say 8. 2's - 8. 3's), you will need to go to a bigger injector, and upgrade your comp to a drag comp (get rid of the 2700rpm defuel), and probably more air then the BD twins will offer. I race with some people that have the BD twins, and I have driven a truck with them on, and they drive pretty nice, but they seem to lack the top end air. For what you are wanting to do, I would go with a larger set of twins. EGT's and smoke will also be lower at the hp you need to be at to run low 8's.

Now the big question is what do you use your truck for besides wanting to run low 8's?
