2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Hmmm, nuts and no bolts...

This is my first time posting a picture, sorry if it doesn't work...



I found these dangling out of my front frame rails, just behind the front bumper where the frame is boxed.



Can anyone tell me what they rusted off of? I looked all over and just don't see it.

same bolts are used on tow hooks and I believe the bumper too.

Do you have an aftermarket front bumper? I have something like that hanging in my frame rails and the braces that went to the side of my stock front bumper used to mount there.

Same type of fastener (called a flag nut) is used on the the passenger side of the trackbar.

Bob is correct. They are use at the furthest hole to the rear on the tow hook bracket. They slide in through the hole where the side bumper support bracket u-nut is.
