HO/48RE power upgardes

Who makes the best aftermarket upgrade out there for the new HO/48REs? Not looking for a massive burst of black smoke at full throttle and I don't need a 400 Hp motor, but an extra 60 or 80 Hp would be nice. Also, will the new 48RE auto hold up to the increase? I'll be taking delivery of my 3500 Crew Cab/short bed HO/48RE 4x4 next week and want to get right on it.

The 48RE seems to be able to stand up to around 400hp before mods there are required. Can't say the same about the turbo and airbox. We offer mods for those trucks to take them just about anywhere you want.

Why don't you take delivery of your truck, see how it is, then make an intelignet choice?

Maybe rmcnamee has driven a Ho/48re and knows how much power is on tap. If so he would making an intelligent choice, Which is asking questions and gathering info before he spends his hard earned $$$$.

I could wait for the truck to arrive, but I've already driven an HO/6-spd (no auto was available on the lot) and was impressed with the power. However, while the auto should be just as powerful, I figure you can always use a little more. Besides, I've "turned-up" every other diesel I've owned, why stop now. . .
