The engine in my 12V with 120K+ miles looked in better condition than this motor. The price looks right - for now - but the motor does not look like 1500 miles old. I would be prepared to put $$ into this motor. Something doesn't add up.
yeah, it either has a lot more miles, or it has been very hot. My manifold stayed a nice color until i started getting greedy with the fueling box and stock turbo. After several 1600 degree quarter mile runs the lacquer has burned off, and im starting to get a few rust spots, but nothing like that.
Someone should explain to the seller that battery acid is best "neutralized" rather than just "washed off at the local car wash"... besides, who is he, Connan? I'll just throw it in the bed of my SECOND 2002 and take it down to the carwash and spray it down????
