If you can get the price of the new truck discounted by any rebates, and a decent amount of the profit down towards invoice, and get $36k for your 2012, I’d run with it. The $36k figure was barely attained by some of those with the buy back fiasco regarding the front end/tie rod parts.First of all thanks for everyone's support for my situation. Life goes on! Been doing some spec-ing on RamTrucks.com to see what kind of price I am looking at. I am wondering at what my 2012 DRW will actually bring at a trade or private sale. The two dealers in my area are both quoting Kelly book values which top out at $36K. The truck has a SnugTop canopy, Torklift heavy hitch, and a front end receiver hitch. Friends tell me I should be getting close to $40k. I do see some for that price on Auto Trader. Just wondering how hot a commodity this non-def 2012 4x4 is in my local market?
Additionally........ask any of your friends if they’ll give you $40,000 for it TODAY.
Would YOU give $40,000 for this truck TODAY if YOU were buying it?
